The Web CASI is now available for use and can be found on the Web Apps page.

Silverlight is no longer required to run the Web CASI. It is supported on most major browsers. We have noticed a few quirks with Internet Explorer, so we recommend using a more modern browser for a better experience. Segment data is saved to the computer and is stored within the browser itself. This means that if a segment is checked out with Firefox, it will not be accessible through Chrome on the same computer.

The first time that the CASI is launched in a browser, a banner will appear near the top of the screen asking you to open the Communications window. After logging in with your NRI account, the plants database and ecological site list will be downloaded and processed into your browser. The initial load may take a minute. Once done, the banner should disappear.
