All National Resource Inventory (NRI) policies are located in the USDA-NRCS General Manual Title 290 Part 400 as well as in agency Title 290 national bulletins. However, policies do not always explain “how” to complete the tasks that are needed in order to comply with those policies. This is especially true for staff who are new to the NRI Grazing Lands (NRI-GL) processes. To aid in that process, the NRI-GL team in Ames has prepared a guide that, like the Handbook of Instructions, is designed to assist SRICs or their designees in completing the NRI-GL steps.
